Another great Grimsargh Field Day Parade thanks to GTM  

The annual Grimsargh Field Day Parade was once again an outstanding success – thanks to organisers and volunteers, the local community – and GTM’s traffic management.  

Held annually in the Lancashire village of Grimsargh, the parade attracts large crowds of residents and visitors and is a much-loved part of the community calendar. 

And for the fourth consecutive year, GTM stepped up to help deliver the popular community event safely and efficiently, working closely with organisers to ensure road closures, pedestrian movements and traffic flows were managed safely throughout the day. 

The partnership was established through GTM depot manager Paul Jacques, a Grimsargh resident who has been involved with fundraising for the parade over several years. 

With a depot located just outside the village and teams regularly working in the surrounding area, supporting the event provides an opportunity for GTM to give something back to the local community while showcasing the high standards of service for which the business is known. 

Paul said: 

“Supporting Grimsargh Field Day is something I’m incredibly proud to be involved in. It’s a fantastic community event and our role helps ensure it can take place safely while bringing people together.” 

Over the past four years, GTM’s involvement has received consistently positive feedback from event organisers and residents which has strengthened relationships with local organisations and stakeholders, in an area where GTM carry out a considerable amount of work throughout the year.
