Behind the scenes at Manchester Village Pride 2026

GTM was pleased to support Manchester City Council with the delivery of the Manchester Village Pride Parade 2026, held in Manchester’s Gay Village over the bank holiday weekend.

As part of the wider Manchester Village Pride celebrations, the parade brought thousands of people together for a day of community, inclusivity and celebration. What makes the event particularly unique is the passion behind the teams who help deliver the special occasion, with celebrations returning to the heart of the Gay Village where the event first began.

To support the safe delivery of the parade, GTM’s Worsley operations team was on site around the clock, providing traffic management support throughout the day & night. Despite persistent rain and challenging conditions, the team remained focused on keeping the event running smoothly for organisers, participants and visitors.

Events such as Manchester Village Pride rely on the efforts of many different organisations working together behind the scenes. We are proud to have played our part and would like to thank our team on the ground for their professionalism, dedication and positive attitude throughout the day.
