GTM has successfully supported the delivery of the Queens Drive (Liverpool) project through the provision of specialist traffic management solutions to help ensure works were completed safely and efficiently.
The challenge
The scheme required a robust traffic management approach to facilitate essential works while minimising disruption to road users and maintaining a safe working environment.
As part of a high-value project, planning and coordination were essential in ensuring the right controls were in place throughout.
Our approach
Working alongside Cadent and Border Group, GTM helped coordinate:
- Rhino barrier systems
- Lane closures
- On-site supervision
- Traffic management support
Barrier installation, supervision and lane closure activities took place on 25 July, with barrier hire remaining in place until completion at the end of August 2026.
Delivering added value
In addition to the physical traffic management measures, evidence and timestamp records were obtained from Border Group to support client audit and compliance requirements.
Outcomes
- Enabled the safe delivery of essential works through effective traffic management and site protection measures
- Maintained traffic flow and minimised disruption to road users
- Successfully installed and managed Rhino barrier systems and lane closures in line with programme requirements
- Supported compliance with client audit requirements through the provision of timestamped records and installation evidence
- Delivered a high-quality traffic management solution on a major infrastructure scheme while maintaining a safe working environment for operatives and the public
