Innovation Alert: GPS Trackers

We are pleased to announce our latest innovation at Go Traffic Management – TrackIt247 GPS trackers that enable us to remotely monitor our temporary traffic lights.

All Go Traffic Management units have been fitted with these devices, providing us with real time monitoring information about the battery levels, status and location of our equipment.

This technology enables our teams to remotely confirm reports received about temporary traffic lights or other traffic measures, reducing wasted journey time and our carbon footprint. Subsequently, this results in a better-quality service for road users and cost savings for clients.

Our use of GPS trackers is the latest in a steady stream of innovations we actively implement to reduce both costs and carbon emissions, minimise disruption for road users, and improve service for our clients.

GTM has supported my career path

I started working for GTM in July 2021 as a traffic Management operative…I then got extra training and achieved my M3-M5 Lantra qualification, GTM has supported my career path and I gained my HGV class 2 licence. I was offered a supervisors role I took the opportunity and each day a boosted my confidence.

I have now being enrolled on a 2 year scheme to start my SHEQ role in Health & Safety. GTM is a place you can climb the ladder to better your career path.
